That was me.

When I first heard about Tantra and Leadership, my initial reaction was doubt. How could these two possibly be connected?

Even as I stood in Berlin, just two hours before the seminar, I still wasn’t convinced. A part of me hesitated.

But curiosity, courage, and intuition nudged me forward.

I trusted Anna, the facilitator, and I knew that as a leader, I was always looking for new tools—new ways to grow.

So I stepped in.

And now, looking back, I realize: Leadership was simply the door I entered through, but Tantra was the room I discovered.

I couldn’t have chosen another way in. And knowing what I know now, it would have been a shame to walk past it—to never step inside and uncover the treasures within.

The experience itself was unlike anything I expected. Practicing with strong, mature members of the group was a revelation. These were people who could truly hold space for me. People who could handle me. And wow—what a difference that makes.

For the first time in a long time, I felt free to express my true feelings, to share my thoughts without filtering them, to connect with my body before I spoke.

Anna and Ilka, our guides in this journey, created an environment that was both structured and fluid, powerful yet gentle. It was a space where six leaders—each with their own strengths and challenges—could safely practice what we rarely get to in our professional lives:

• Managing boundaries with clarity
• Leading from a place of deep embodiment
• Giving and receiving direct, honest feedback
• Seeing and accepting others fully

These two women weren’t just facilitators. They were masterful observers, the kind of teachers you never forget—the ones who see your potential before you do.

The ones who believe in you so much that, eventually, you start believing in yourself too.

And the insights I gained? They were fresh. They were exhilarating. And yes, some of them were terrifying.

Because this wasn’t just about leadership. It was about life. It was about connection. It was about something far beyond the boardroom.

So here I am, at the start of a new journey. A journey that promises something powerful. And for the first time, I’m not just leading—I’m listening. I’m feeling. I’m discovering.

And I can’t wait to see where it takes me next.

Fortunately, Anna and Ilka provided me with a warm and resourcing safe space to dare, with their guidance, the first steps in the new yet fragile state.

Returning home, I felt lighter. I felt free. I perceive an unfelt strength in being myself.

Thanks to the many diverse exercises, I realized and could witness in others as well the power of being yourself. It radiates from itself. A power you naturally desire to follow. The power of your own leadership. And what an impact it generates.

I would have never believed it without the participants’ feedback. Inspiring people telling me that they were perceiving what I was perceiving in them. A unique strength that was always there, but I just was not used to using.

No more need to spend so much energy trying to achieve influence by imitating the leadership qualities I’ve been taught during my career. So many preconceived ideas were dismantled in this workshop. So many unforeseen positive reactions. What a humble reminder that I do not know it all and do not foresee every possible outcome.

It encouraged me to open myself, getting surprised by others and not letting past experiences limit my actions.

I also discovered in these three days what kind of leader I am and what kind of leadership I wish to spread. Another unexpected acknowledgment. I kind of did perceive that something was not feeling right in the way I used to lead but couldn’t tell what it was.

The workshop provided answers. A warm and caring leadership is possible, and because it is aligned with who I am, it has an impact. The impact I was always looking for.

And then, piece by piece, they started to fall away. Not forcefully, not dramatically, but through something much deeper: presence, trust, and raw honesty.

It wasn’t always comfortable. Shedding the familiar never is. But in the space Anna and Ilka created, vulnerability became a path, not a weakness. And on the other side of it, I found something I didn’t expect—leadership that doesn’t demand, push, or imitate. Leadership that simply is.

Coming home, I felt a new kind of freedom. The realization that impact isn’t something you strive for, it happens when you show up as yourself. When you stop performing leadership and start living it.

And the best part? Others see it too. The feedback I received was like a mirror reflecting a strength that had always been there, just waiting to be acknowledged.

I used to think influence came from effort. Now I know it comes from authenticity. And that changes everything.
